Description

r.rhenus DU 700 P is a yellow coloured highly doped drawing oil free of chlorine for the production of non-ferrous semi-finished products.

Application

r.rhenus DU 700 P is used for drawing operations of tubes (i.e. pipe fittings), rods and profiles.

r.rhenus DU 700 P is also used for die lubrication (outer lubrication) and for floating plug lubrication.

A specific combination of substances provides good wettability and adhesiveness of the oil on metal surfaces and synergistically acting additives eliminate the risk of material galling under extreme pressures. Therefore, low wear of die and floating plug at high traction speeds.

Non-ferrous tubes manufactured by use of r.rhenus DU 700 P can be blank-annealed in standard protection gas-atmosphere without preliminary cleaning and without the risk of discoloration or formation of residues.
